Match Report - 03 Nov 2007, Ross High Rugby Football Club Reserves XV v LISMORE match cancelled

Ross High 2nd XV's positive start to the season came to a shuddering halt on Saturday, as they had to cancel the always eagerly anticipated trip to Lismore.

This now unfortunately means that the 2nd XV will be deducted a point and in effect lose 4 points as this was a game they were strong favourites to win. As a result, it means that they are now looking downwards to protect their mid-table position rather than looking up the table to challenge the bigger clubs as had been the target earlier in the season.

The 2’s are due to play a home match against Edinburgh Accies next week so a good contest is expected.
