Match Report - 18 Nov 2007, Ross High Rugby Football Club S2's lost to Gala
Using the scoring method of 3 points for a try and 1 point for a conversion Ross High S2 went down heavily to a well drilled Gala team.
Poor tackling and too many solo efforts resulting in lost ball were the obvious errors as noted by the players. Hopefully this will be a lesson learned and some hard work on the training fields will remedy these flaws.
To their credit the team didn't give up entirely and their try came late in the game with a signature try from Arron McCall who with a blistering turn of speed put the Gala defence on the back foot and sped over for a try which James Peel converted.
Due to absences three S1s again made up the numbers and they once again did themselves proud. Livingston next week at home and some hard work required if the S2s want to win that match.
