Match Report - 03 Oct 2008, Ross High Rugby Football Club Colts (U18's) lost to musselburgh RFC
Another good performance from a team suffering players forced to play out of position caused by injuries and no shows.
With Graeme Robertson at prop,Andrew welsh second row and Naz at flanker all playing out of position.
Some strong tackling from Anton,Greg and Nicol in the backs saved what was heading for a telephone number score.
Ross Watters made some fantastic driving runs but lacked support
There were very few chances for Ryan Hook to take control of the game or kick any points.
Late in the match saw a shoulder injury for Adam Martin putting him out for a couple of weeks.
The unbeaten Musselburgh team are a powerful unit with a good couple of years more experience and some internationals in their squad compared to our young team.
The lads kept their heads up and battled but were unfortunate to come away without scoring any points.
Probably the toughest match we will experience this season.
Still some excellent signs of growth in the team with a really strong team spirit developing and again masses of effort.
well done lads for your attitude.
