Adult Rugby

Ross High Rugby Club weekly field 2 adult rugby teams in competitive National leagues.

Ross High RFC are able to boast that ALL of our current Playing Squad are local to Tranent and its surrounding communities and this helps to give the that edge over many of our local rivals.

Our playing squad is currently made up of young, enthusiastic and skilled players who are looking to grow and develop as both a team and a club.

As part of our drive to develop we are looking for new players to come along and enjoy the Ross High experience and be part of our club. It does not matter if you have played before, as rugby is quite easy to pick up and you will be made very welcome.

Junior Rugby (8 – 18)

The Ross High Rugby Clubs junior section is affiliated to Ross High School and its cluster primary schools.  With opportunities to start rugby from Primary 4 to S6 (ages 8 to 18).  By joining Ross High Rugby you will play for both the school and club. With weekly practice sessions and matches, social events and a bi-annual Rugby Tour, the Youth Section continues to grow and grow.

Similar to the adult club, you don't have to have played before joining, most current players all started playing with Ross High and developed the more they play.

Supporters

Ross High RFC are proud to have some of the most loyal and dedicated spectators in Scotland. Made up of a mixture of ex-players, friends, families and local rugby enthusiasts, the atmosphere generated is one Ross Highs greatest strengths.

On a Saturday the buzz around the club begins early morning with the Junior rugby (9am) and continues right through to the Colts and Senior rugby teams. This buzz of competitive and excitement is often commentated on by visiting teams of all ages.

Sporting Events

Ross High RFC is more than a rugby club and often hosts football, hockey and other sporting events for teams of all ages. Our excellent facilities on and off the park are a big draw and often see many teams return on a regular basis.

Big Screen

Aswell as hosting local sporting events we also make a big effort for most televised sporting events. With the help of our large projector screen and integrated PA system we can help our guests get as close to the action as possible.
